Kabyl has found that annoying ‘bug’ which caused a kernel panic when using some non-vanilla kernels in conjunction with AppleEFIRuntime.kext. The ineffective device-properties string issue was also solved by this fix. Version 1.0.9 is on the way soon.

ok what is the solution for it…… i havent been using RC4 because of this exact same problem….
gives me the same kernel panic with both 10.5.8 as well as 10.6.2……
do let me know…..
